Air Cool Heating & Cooling did an outstanding job replacing my old heat pump, air handler, all attic ductwork and insulation, thermostat, and ceiling registers. Sean, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and detail-oriented. He accurately determined my precise needs, and I now have a wonderfully efficient heating and cooling system! I had read positive reviews from others and was similarly very impressed by Sean's detailed descriptions and explanations of how he would approach the project. And the project was executed exactly as he described! My attic was filled with very old insulation and significant dust due to a broken clothes dryer exhaust pipe. Sean's team removed all that old debris and then installed new insulation after the new ductwork and components were in place. They worked efficiently and incredibly neatly, considering the messy state of the attic. The second team completed the major replacement work - all of the installation outside, inside, and in the attic. I was extremely impressed with their expertise, work ethic, endurance, neatness, and cheerfulness. They were very friendly and personable - wonderful to work with and have in my home. Prior to starting the project, Sean was so helpful, completing paperwork and taking pictures for me that I needed for my homeowners association's approval. He also handled the forms for the city permit, inspection, and for SMUD so that I could get a rebate. His knowledge and helpfulness made things as easy as possible for me. He went above and beyond, even fixing some things for me that were not part of the project, including that broken dryer vent pipe. Overall, he was extremely responsive and wonderful to work with - a great guy with a great team. I could not be happier!
I was able to reach Sean after 5 PM on a Friday and explained that our AC unit had stopped providing cool air. We had been experiencing temperatures of 100 degrees and above, so our home was very uncomfortable. Sean added us to his schedule for the very next morning and stayed in contact with an arrival time.
