I recently collaborated with Amin and his team to complete a major overhaul: replacing a 24-year-old AC and gas furnace system, as well as a separate ADU unit, with two new heat pumps. It was a substantial project, but I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Amin was excellent to work with - he was incredibly patient with my questions and helped me navigate the options. He ensured we selected units that met my specific preferences for refrigerant and low noise levels, while also qualifying for federal tax credits. In addition to the expert guidance, his pricing was very reasonable and competitive. The installation crew was professional and did a superb job. We encountered a few unexpected issues during the process, but Amin and the team explained everything clearly and resolved the situations perfectly. I turned to Amin after another company quoted me a price that seemed significantly too high for a replacement part. I ordered the part myself (for a fraction of the cost), and Amin had no issues with installing it. He was also able to obtain the official version of that part for almost the same price, but with a much better warranty. His colleague installed it very quickly and addressed all the questions I had for them. Both were excellent communicators. And they arranged everything within a few days! Their knowledge of the system, efficient workmanship, and flexibility in the installation process, gave me great confidence that we received a high-quality installation for a fair price. Our 20-year-old A/C units were becoming difficult to repair, and I was not looking forward to dealing with A/C sales representatives from the major brands. I looked up Irvine Air. Amazing service, like the kind you used to get when polite and courteous communication, along with quick responses to clearly explained questions, mattered. I feel the company, through Amin and Roya, went above and beyond to explain everything they were doing and planned to do. They were easy to work with and discussed all aspects of the installation and equipment to be used in great detail before anything was purchased or installation commenced. I came across Irvine Air after contacting up to 15 companies to replace an HVAC system with a heat pump model as part of the rather complicated HEEHRA program, which offers significant rebates for qualified, efficient heat pump systems. Amin is an amazing person who is genuinely caring and knowledgeable about all matters HVAC for home and business systems. He's always polite and fully present in the moment, as indicated by his often good vibes and great smile. He got back to me in a timely manner after I left a message regarding our needs and intentions. He provided a ballpark estimate over the phone after we discussed makes, models, and some of his insider knowledge about different systems and their claimed and actual capabilities, reliability, and expected performance compared to others in the marketplace. His price was significantly better than any others I contacted, and his vibe and tone indicated the most trustworthiness of any of the other companies. On that alone, I felt we were getting the best deal possible, as the person I trusted the most provided the most thorough and complete information at the best price for equipment and installation. The entire process of researching qualifying equipment, turning in documents, purchasing the HVAC system, the installation, and the submission of final documents was a chore, but the whole team at Irvine Air was always on top of things and ready to move the process along efficiently. By the end of the deal, the rebate check was issued from the State, and everything worked out smoothly with good feelings and well wishes. The most important takeaway is that the HVAC installation industry can be rather dodgy, with many pitfalls and traps. In that environment, Amin and the people at Irvine Air are honest and trustworthy, which is akin to finding gold in this industry and should not be overlooked or undervalued when comparing HVAC companies. If you can trust the company you work with, even if unforeseen problems arise, you'll have a partner that will give you an honest account and not take advantage of the situation or leave you stranded.
