Pacific Heating in Morro Bay is the go-to company for both the business I work for and my personal home maintenance and repairs. Mark is a fantastic service technician, and Liz in the office is wonderful to work with, helping us stay on top of our quarterly business maintenance.
Based on a friend's recommendation, I hired Pacific Heating and Sheet Metal. Rich, Bob, and Daniel provided excellent service and demonstrated a strong understanding of my heating needs. I am very satisfied with their fair pricing and prompt installation work. I highly recommend this company.
I hired Pacific Heat to service my furnace and thermostat, which had not been working for about two years. Scheduling the appointment was easy, and the technician arrived promptly at 8:00 AM. He immediately got to work, provided me with his business card, and fixed the issue, which turned out to be a clogged component, in less than 30 minutes. Thanks to his prompt and effective repair, I now have heat on this chilly night.
The entire team at Pacific Heating was incredible, from my initial conversation with Liz to the repair visit by John at my home. It was an outstanding experience overall. I highly recommend using this amazing crew - they are honest, efficient, and pleasant to work with.
In 2018, I purchased a wall heater from this company, but it never functioned properly, consistently failing to turn on and off as expected. I had their technicians come out a total of five times - twice to address a loud metal popping noise that required reinforcing the heater's backing, and three more times to address the ongoing issue of the heater not turning on and off normally. I told each technician that I had to manually adjust the thermostat to get the heater to turn on, and suggested the thermostat needed replacing, but was told it was working fine during their visits. This winter, I contacted the owner again, explaining the same problem - the heater would not maintain the set temperature, allowing the house to drop to the low 60s, and was turning on and off randomly, often not at all. I had to manually manipulate the thermostat to get it to function. After paying for another service call, the technician, Jon, was initially dismissive of my concerns, wanting only to perform a full inspection. It wasn't until I showed him a video of the malfunctioning heater that he was willing to replace the thermostat, which ultimately resolved the issue. This ordeal took 7 years, 5 service calls, and $204 to fix, when they should have replaced the faulty thermostat from the beginning.
